Seifukujitsu

Seifukujitsu is a 1500 year old system of medical treatment that is based in traditional asian science. In pre-westernized Japan, Seifukujitsu practitioners were considered medical doctors and were required to undergo thousands of hours of training taking many years of study.

Professor Okazaki studied seifukujitsu with his Sensei in Hilo, Hawaii and toured Japan learning from those that he found practicing the art there. His clinic, known as the Nikko Seifukujitsu do in (sanitarium) treated thousands of patients seeking help with enumerable ailments. Okazaki also studied the local healing arts while in Hawaii.

Seifukujitsu therapies are based on the idea that the body is a perfect healing system that sometimes needs a little help to "get into gear." It is mainly a system of physical manipulation that begins with an overall rebalancing of the body's energy pathways.

Students of Danzan Ryu learn many Seifukujitsu techniques to resuscitate and to aid recovery from injury. Advanced training and certification in the Danzan Ryu Restorative Therapy (DZRRT) system is offered by Danzan Ryu Seifukujitsu Institute (DZRSI) via 3 modules each taking 8 months to complete
